PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing packaging bag with a side gusset in which a bottom part is formed in a planar shape when storing contents and the stability can be improved, and the cost can be reduced and the design property is superior, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: One piece of sheet material 2 is folded back, and a surface side sheet 2a and a reverse side sheet 2b are formed. At both sides of the surface side sheet 2a and the reverse side sheet 2b, two-folded side gussets 3 are joined from the folding part 2c of the sheet material 2 to the bag opening side, respectively, by orienting a mountain-fold side 3a toward the inside of a bag. When the contents are stored, the side gussets 3, the surface side sheet 2a and the reverse side sheet 2b are unfolded. Also, the side gussets 3 on the folding part side is folded in the inside of the bag in the shape of a triangle flap, and folded so that the folding part side of the surface side sheet 2a becomes flush with the folding part side of reverse side sheet 2b, and thereby a surface part 6a, a rear part 6b and a bottom part 6c are formed. |
