<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup in which even when two objective lenses are arranged side by side in a tangential direction of a track, a more correct signal for tracking control is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup includes a first objective lens, a second objective lens disposed in the tangential direction of the track of the optical disk relative to the first objective lens, a first unit which emits light to be guided by the first objective lens, and detects light which has been condensed by the first objective lens and has been reflected from the optical disk, a second unit which emits light to be guided by the second objective lens, and detects light which has been condensed by the second objective lens and has been reflected from the optical disk through the use of a hologram, and a reflector which transmits light of the first unit and reflects light of the second unit.
