PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal key system which can immediately determine that the once established communication is interrupted.SOLUTION: A portable terminal key 2 and its communication partner 17 execute communication through Bluetooth communication. In the Bluetooth communication, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) is used. The portable terminal key 2 and the communication partner 17 execute regular communication through an application layer in a time interval shorter than a connection monitoring time-out Tk' managed in a BLE link layer, after the communication is established. At this time, when receiving no response from the partner within a regular communication timeout Tk, the portable terminal key system determines that communication is interrupted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
