<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which can hold a clear recording image by preventing the occurrence of layer exfoliation in a metallic compound containing layer (gas barrier layer), and the interface exfoliation between the metallic compound containing layer and the other layer, even when using for a long period under a severe environment, and a reversible thermal recording member having the reversible thermal recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium is formed by successively layering a support, a reversible thermal recording layer made by a reversible thermal composition containing an electron donating colorational compound and an electron acceptive compound, a metallic compound containing layer including a resin including at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a polyvinyl alcohol polymer and an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, an organic metal compound including at least either one of an organic titanium compound or an organic zirconium compound, and an inorganic layer-state compound, and a protection layer for protecting the metallic compound containing layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
