摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an interruption time of a game by enabling a scaler device to recover for itself in the case that an error occurs in the scaler device of a game machine.SOLUTION: The game machine includes comparison means for reading contents of processing information storage means (ROM) in a register, writing the contents of the register in control information storage means (RAM), and comparing the contents of the register with the contents of the RAM with the contents of the register written therein (step S1264 to S1267), resetting means for generating a reset in the case that the contents of the RAM is different from the contents of the register, and reset generation inhibition means for inhibiting the resetting means from generating a reset in the case that the contents of the RAM coincides with the contents of the register (step S1272: WDT clear). The resetting means prevents the reset generation inhibition means from being executed till reset generation (WDT timeout) (step S1271) in the case that the contents of the RAM is different from the contents of the register.
