<p>The proposed device comprises two transparent substrates (1, 2) with a set of parallel transparent vertical and horizontal conductors (5, 6) covered with a transparent dielectric layer. The sealed cavity between the transparent dielectric layers (9) is half-filled with a magnetic liquid (4), the other half of the cavity being a vacuum. The magnetic liquid (4) is separated from each of the transparent dielectric layers (9) by a layer of transparent material (10, 13) which repels the magnetic liquid (4).</p> |
