The window, at least partially consists of a wooden frame which is supported in the main body frame (2) which is connected to the brickwork. The window frame (1) and/or the body frame are provided with L-shaped or T-shaped metal sections (4). The L-shaped or T-shaped section is provided between the window pane (3) and the window frame. The L-shaped or T-shaped section (4) serves as a window pane guide, and may be arranged at the longitudinal side, sideways to the rim or may be fixed at the edge on the frames (1,2). The L-shaped or T-shaped section is arranged in the gap (5) between two frames (1,10), the window and the main body frame (2), or between two window frames.
