PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle push-button switch capable of preventing occurrence of play at the time of non-operation, having high operability, and facilitating its dimension control. SOLUTION: Guide grooves 9 are formed on the inside wall of a tube part 3 of a fixed part 2; and generally V-shaped projection holding grooves 9A for holding projections 10 are formed on parts where the projections 10 on the side of a push part 5 are positioned during non-operation in the guide grooves 9. Thereby, the projections 10 are held by the projection holding grooves 9A in non-operation, and the projections 10 are prevented from being jolted in the circumferential direction of the tube part 3.
