PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach information relating to a photographed image, using simple operations. SOLUTION: A digital image storage system is provided with a voice conversion system 800 accessible via a base station or the Internet, and the information relating to the photographed image inputted from a microphone for speech communication of a portable terminal 100 is stored, as it is; as voice in a memory 105. Alternatively, this voice information 80 is transmitted to a character conversion system 800, the data converted into character information by a character conversion system 800 are received and the data are stored together with the photographed image in the memory 105. In addition, the storage system is provided with an arbitrary attached information server 900, further detailed information related to the photographed image is acquired and stored in the memory 105. If, for example, a specific store is photographed, attached information (business hours, etc.,) relating to the store is retrieved from an attached information server 900 over the Internet, and the data are stored together with the photographed images.
