PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for injection-molding a long fiber-reinforced resin which keeps impact strength in the vicinity of a weld line caused by a hole part etc., controls the material cost of a molding 21, and can be operated completely automatically and a method for injection-molding the resin. SOLUTION: The apparatus has an openable/closable mold which makes the press fitting and solidification of a molten resin and the taking-out of a molding by separating/attaching a mold parting surface 22 including the female mold of the molding 21 by a first mold and a second mold, a mold clamping means which makes control distinguishing the separation distanceαof the mold parting surface 22 into at least three stages of clearance holding, adhesion, and release possible and, during the press fitting or after the packing of the molten resin into the female mold, transfers the opening/closing state of the mold from a clearance holding state to an adhesion state, a core insertion hole 18 which is arranged in the second mold and can insert the core tip 17, and a boring means which inserts the core tip 17 into the core insertion hole 18 by the simultaneous advance with the mold clamping by the mold clamping means.
