PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable display device and a technology to produce such a display device at low cost in good yield. SOLUTION: The display device comprises an electroluminescent layer on a first reflective electrode layer and a transparent second electrode layer on the electroluminescent layer. The electroluminescent layer comprises a layer containing organic compounds and inorganic compounds in contact with the first electrode layer which is made of a film containing aluminum alloy including at least one or more of molybdenum, titanium, and carbon.
