The invention relates to an active anti-roll bar for a vehicle with two anti-roll bar pieces each comprising a base support which are coupled in rotation by a coupling means, said coupling means being suitable for bringing about a change in torsional rigidity of the coupled anti-roll bar pieces by means of a change in the effective torsional length of at least one of the base supports. The invention further relates to such an anti-roll bar in which a guide mechanism is provided between the coupling means and at least one of the base supports which is provided with helical guide tracks enclosing the base support. |
