<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation film having a small photoelastic coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: The retardation film comprises a structural unit derived from a compound (A) and is stretched, wherein the compound (A) is obtained by reacting one or more diol compounds (1) selected from the group comprising compounds represented by formula (1A): HO-L<SP>1</SP>-W<SP>1</SP>-L<SP>2</SP>-OH and formula (1B): HO-W<SP>2</SP>-L<SP>3</SP>-W<SP>3</SP>-OH with a polyisocyanate compound (2) having an alicyclic hydrocarbon skeleton, and then reacting the resulting reaction product with a compound (3) having functional groups capable of reacting with ethylenic double bond and the isocyanate group of the polyisocyanate compound (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
