PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a rolling bearing capable of excellently securing even installation stability of an elastic seal member to an outer ring, without having adverse influence on the circularity of an outer diameter surface of the outer ring. SOLUTION: This sealing device of the rolling bearing has the elastic seal member 40 for sealing a lubricant between the outer ring 10 and an inner ring 20, and is fixed by installing rubber 42 of the elastic seal member 40 in a seal groove 11 formed in the outer ring 10, and forms a sealing part between an inner diameter end part of the rubber 42 and an outer peripheral surface 21 of the inner ring 20. The seal groove 11 as an end surface groove is formed on a side surface of the outer ring 10. An interference on the inner diameter side of the rubber 42 is set as a predetermined large interference. The rubber 42 of the elastic seal member 40 contacts with an inner diameter side side wall 11a of the seal groove 11 so as to press an inner diameter side step part 12 of the seal groove 11 inward in the radial direction.
