PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bulging amount in a tire circumferential direction on a block kick-out side by suppressing elongation in the tire circumferential direction of a base portion of a block, and to improve wear resistance. SOLUTION: A slit 22 is provided on a bottom surface of a lug groove 4, thereby expanding a surface area of the bottom surface of the lug groove 4. A free surface area of the base portion of a tread is expanded, so that surface outside deformation of the base portion of the tread is promoted. Therefore, since the elongation in the tire circumferential direction of the base portion is decreased, bulging in the tire circumferential direction on the block kick-out side is decreased.
