PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a life estimating method of an axle spring rubber capable of precisely estimating the life of a rubber product in its early stages without performing a durability test until rubber is broken and to develop an FEM input data processing method noticing that the time series waveform of the measured axle spring rubber is processed into the input data of finite-element method analysis. SOLUTION: The life estimating method of the rubber product has a data processing procedure 33 for processing the time series waveform, which is obtained by measuring the load acting on the axle rubber spring of a railroad truck over a predetermined time, into the input data fitted to the finite-element method analysis and an FEM procedure 35 for performing the finite-element method analysis using the input data obtained in the data processing procedure 33. The data processing procedure 33 includes a uniformizing processing procedure 34 transferred to the FEM procedure 35 if the input data based on the time series waveform remains uniformly distributed as predetermined and subdividing the input data until the input data turns uniformly distributed as predetermined if the input data based on the time series waveform remains non-uniformly distributed.
