HOPPER DEVICE OF ASPHALT FINISHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and efficiently discharge piled timber on a dump truck to the hopper device of an asphalt finisher. SOLUTION: In this hopper device 1, the height of the forward bottom surface of the hopper 21 of an asphalt finisher is lowered and the height of the backward bottom surface thereof is increased. A rotating shaft 22 for opening/closing the hopper device 1 longitudinally extends to the rear of the hopper 21. The rotating shaft 22 is so extended downward that the height of the forward F bottom surface of the hopper 21 is lower than the position of the rotating shaft 22 for opening/closing longitudinally extending to the rear R of the hopper 21 and also lower than the position of the rear bumper 10 of a dump truck 2.
