METHOD FOR MEASURING INTRA-ABDOMINAL PRESSURE

A method for measuring intra-abdominal pressure comprises intraoperative implantation of the elastic balloon into free abdominal cavity. The balloon is connected to the catheter exterorized via counteraperture to the anterior abdominal wall. Polyvinyl chloride draining catheter is inserted into abdominal cavity by laparocentesis. Distally, the catheter has four marks and contains the balloons wrapping the tube circularly. Balloon is connected with the adapter with the aid of the thin silicone tube inside polyvinyl chloride draining catheter. To the adapter, three-way port is connected equipped with the device pumping the air and the pressure probe.
