METHOD FOR MOBILIZING ESOPHAGUS IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CANCER OF MIDDLE THIRD OF ESOPHAGUS

A method for mobilizing the esophagus in the surgical treatment of cancer of the middle third of the esophagus comprises the left thoracotomy. The aorta is mobilized by cutting the upper three pairs of intercostal, esophageal and bronchial arteries. The mobilized aorta is pushed to the right under the visual control. The esophagus with cancer is resected to the cupola of pleura. The surgery ends with cervical esophagostoma with gastrostoma or the generation of gastro-esophageal anastomosis.
