PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a correct measurement result cannot be acquired sometimes, when measuring a sample without sucking an expected dispensation amount owing to wrong detection of a liquid level. SOLUTION: A motor driving a syringe is stopped by reverse rotation for backlash correction. The sample in a tube cannot follow a sudden pressure change because of having viscosity, to thereby enlarge overshoot and undershoot. When bubbles are contaminated into the tube, a pressure change in the tube during backlash shows a pressure change different from normal suction caused by a cushion action by the bubbles. In this invention, the pressure change is sampled at fixed intervals, and operation processing is performed, by using as a trigger, the front or the rear of a motor reverse rotation action for performing backlash correction, to thereby discriminate between normal suction and suction during bubble contamination.
