A variable capacity swath plate type compressor is provided to relatively reduce a tapping sound of a valve by hitting a valve plate side with a suction lead valve to which oil sufficiency adheres. A variable capacity swash plate type compressor includes a cylinder block, a front housing and a rear housing(100). The cylinder block includes a plurality of cylinder bores. Each cylinder bore includes a piston which reciprocates in a straight line according to a rotational motion of a swash plate. The front housing is arranged at one end of the cylinder block and combined with the cylinder block to form a crank room. The rear housing is arranged at the other end of the cylinder block. The rear housing includes a suction chamber, a ejection chamber and an inlet(113). The suction chamber is formed in a partitioning wall(114) which is formed in a housing body(110). The ejection chamber is partitioned by the partitioning wall. The inlet is connected with the suction chamber. An oil storage protrusion(117) is protruded from the partitioning wall and forms an oil storage space.
