<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long body holder simply constructed to be used for any kind of small equipment and to be easily mounted on an object such as a chassis of the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The long body holder 1 has an approximately C-shaped cross section approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a held wire 200. Its ends 12A, 12B defining the approximately C-shape are elastically deformed in the direction of separating one from the other, and so they can be inserted into engaging holes 101A, 101B of the chassis 100. When inserted into the engaging holes 101A, 101B, they are elastically restored to engage with the chassis 100.
