<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing its size by making the rotation locus of each of a plurality of exposure members suitable for the layout of other members. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (color printer 1) includes: a plurality of process units 4 having photoreceptors (photoreceptor drums 43); the exposure members 5 disposed alternately with the process units 4 in the direction in which the process units 4 are arranged parallel to one another and used to expose the corresponding photoreceptors; a support member (cover 3) configured so as to be rotatable around a rotation shaft part 31 on the one end side in the direction in which the process units 4 are arranged parallel to one another and so as to support the exposure members 5.
