<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sealer capable of applying a large pressing force between a first pressure contact part and a second pressure contact part with a reduced operating force. <P>SOLUTION: The pressing force is imparted between the first pressure contact part 4 and the second pressure contact part 5 by increasing an operating force relative to an operating lever 3 through a booster mechanism 20. A larger action force is obtained at a support shaft 3b through the principle of leverage by holding a holding part 3c which is longer on the opposite side than a distance to the support shaft 3b with respect to a support shaft 3a and operating the operating lever 3.
