PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having a protective film stacked with an adhesive layer on both surfaces of a thin film polarizer having a thickness of 20 μm or less, the polarizing plate having a good appearance while suppressing generation of fine recesses and projections.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a polarizing plate is provided, which includes steps of, in the following order: bonding a second protective film with an aqueous adhesive to one surface of a polarizer layer having a thickness of 20 μm or less; bonding a first protective film to the other surface of the polarizer layer with an active energy ray-curable adhesive; and forming a transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
