PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink having sufficient fixability even when recorded on various foods, materials contacting with foods, food packaging material or the like and a printing method thereof.SOLUTION: The inkjet ink contains an edible dye, polyvinylpyrrolidone, water and caprylic acid ester with percentage content of the caprylic acid ester of 1 to 15 wt.%. The printing method includes discharging the inkjet ink from a drop on-demand ink jet device, causing the inkjet ink to adhere to a target to be printed, and performing printing, where the inkjet ink discharged from the drop on-demand inkjet device is maintained to be circulated between the inkjet head and an ink tank body of the drop on-demand inkjet device.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
