PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the anxiety of an operator originating from switching of operation modes in a body support tracking device which sets a restriction state which is an operation mode for restricting travelling of a placement section or a release state which is an operation mode for releasing the restriction of travelling of the placement section by automatically switching them.SOLUTION: The body support tracking device for supporting a body part of an operator includes: a placement section on which the body part is placed; a support section having at least one joint; and a brake for executing a restriction state (S1, S5) which is an operation mode for restricting travelling of the placement section by restricting the function of at least one joint in the support section and a release state (S11) which is an operation mode for releasing the restriction of travelling of the placement section by releasing the restriction of the function of the joint.
