<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transnasal labeling composition for tissue of the central nervous system for labeling the central nervous system from the olfactory epithelium through the olfactory bulb by transnasal administration, and a method for non-invasively labeling tissues of the central nervous system through a route of administration causing less migration throughout the whole body, in addition, a screening method using the transnasal labeling composition for tissues of the central nervous system. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes at least one kind of compounds expressed by formula (1) or (2) as an active ingredient [in formula (1), R<SB>1</SB>represents alkyl; R<SB>3</SB>to R<SB>6</SB>independently represent each a hydrogen atom, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, a carboxylic acid group, sulfonic acid group, hetero ring group, amino or a halogen atom; R<SB>5</SB>and R<SB>6</SB>may mutually bond to form a ring; X<SB>1</SB><SP>-</SP>represents an anionic group; A represents formula (3) or (4)], and [in formula (2), R<SB>11</SB>to R<SB>15</SB>independently represent each a hydrogen atom or alkyl; X<SB>2</SB><SP>-</SP>represents an anionic group]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
