The invention relates to a ballast feeding device intended to be carried by a railbound vehicle (1), which ballast feeding device (2) comprises one of the railbound vehicle (1) mountable output feeder (4) which output feeder (4) in the mounted state is movable between an inactive parking position (a) retracted on top of the railbound vehicle (1) and an active feed position (B), with its discharge end (6) extending outside of the railbound vehicle (1), in which feed position (B) the output feeder (4) is arranged to pivot substantially parallel to the plane of the track (100) about an axis (Z) on the railbound vehicle (1), wherein the discharge end (6) of the output feeder (4) is movable along a circular arc (b) for adjustable directional ballast discharging.
