Disclosed is an integrated multimedia, entertainment, communications and control system with an environment for creating programmable services to be performed by the system. The system comprises a component profile for connected components, a zone configuration for identification of components within zones, connection configuration for interconnection of components, service rules for what functions are needed to implement the services, and a compiler to receive the configurations and profiles and output a service implementation description. The system also has a workflow generator to graphically show the service implementation. |
