PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device operating an apparatus via a hand swing input. SOLUTION: The hand swing direction and hand swing moving speed are detected by a hand swing detector 11 constituted of four light emitting elements and a light receiving element, the action information is fed to an apparatus section 12 by an action signal generator 14 based on the detected results, and the action time is fed to the apparatus section 12 by a speed/duration detector 15 to operate the apparatus section 12. What action is taken is fed back by a feedback section 13.
