COATING COMPOSITION OF TRANSPARENT FILM FOR PRINTING OF INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE: Provided is a coating composition of a transparent film for printing of an ink jet printer, wherein the film coated with the coating composition has fast adsorbing speed of aqueous ink and is excellent in dry speed of the ink and performances. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises: 40-80pts.wt. of a modified polyvinyl alcohol resin comprising a repeating unit represented by the formula (I), wherein R is an alkyl ester with less than C10; 10-40pts.wt. of polyvinyl pyrrolidone having a weight average molecular weight of less than 3,000,000; 10-30pts.wt. of an alcohol-soluble resin such as cellulose acetate propionate or carboxyl-containing acryl resin; less than 10pts.wt.(based on 100pts.wt. of the solid of the three resins) of silicon oxide fine particles. And the transparent film is formed by coating one side or both sides of a plastic film support with the coating composition.
