METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SPEAKER DIAPHRAGM AND SPEAKER DIAPHRAGM USING THE SAME MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a speaker diaphragm having high acoustic characteristics. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a speaker diaphragm with which the speaker diaphragm is obtained by heating a sheet-like crystalline thermoplastic film using a heater 8 as a film material 1a and then molding said crystalline thermoplastic film into a predetermined form using a molding means, a temperature of heating due to the heater 8 is set near a fusing point of a crystalline thermoplastic film and the crystalline thermoplastic film is modified from sheet-state into gel-state and molded, thereby reducing residual stress inside the molded film material 1a. As a result, distortion can be reduced, thereby the speaker diaphragm having high acoustic characteristics is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
