PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal unit capable of calling attention against communication noise depending on a use environment, in case of issuing an alarm when a transmission speech signal becomes larger than a predetermined level. SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal unit 10 serves as a unit for speech transmission and reception. The terminal unit includes a speech signal level detector 21 for detecting a transmission speech signal level; a threshold holder 22 for receiving and holding a threshold for a transmission speech volume alarm from a base station radio device 30; a comparator 23 for comparing the speech signal level and the threshold, and outputting the comparison result; and an alarm 18 for issuing an alarm, when the comparison result indicates that the speech signal level is lager than the threshold.
