PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking apparatus for a display panel that enables a positioning plate controlling the setting position of the panel along an X axis and a Y axis during sticking operation to be arranged at a proper position in a space-saving and easy method. SOLUTION: The sticking apparatus comprises a mount base 1 which has, at a top-surface center part, a rectangular groove portion 3 having a corner portion 3c to be mounted while one panel P1 is positioned by an X-axial reference wall 3a and a Y-axial reference wall 3b and mounted by projecting an upper part of the one panel P1, the positioning plate 10 having a corner portion 10c which can be arranged while the other panel P2 is positioned by an X-axial reference surface 10a and a Y-axial reference surface 10b, and rotating means 11, 15, and 16 enabling the positioning plate 10 to freely rotate between a setting position and an offset position.
