PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt with a static safety system concept also in a forced circulation reactor, to position a pressure suppression pool on the reactor containment vessel bottom also in a reactor containment vessel similarly to the conventional art, and to reduce the reactor containment vessel and the height of a reactor building. SOLUTION: This nuclear power facility has a static safety system where a core 13 is positioned on the bottom of the reactor pressure vessel 12, a control rod driving system 14 is arranged above the core, an upper insertion type control rod driving system and a recirculating system 15 of water supply driving jet pump type are provided, the pressure suppression pool 16 is positioned on the bottom of the reactor containment vessel, and the water level h1 of the pressure suppression pool is positioned above the core.
