PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly introduce a vehicle to an initial position, where introduction of the vehicle to a target parking position starts, while considering existence of an obstacle. SOLUTION: This parking support device (1) for introducing a vehicle to a set target parking position comprises initial position introduction means creating an initial position introduction path from a current point of the vehicle to an initial position, where introduction of the vehicle to the target parking position starts and introducing the vehicle to move the initial position along the initial position introduction path, and obstacle detection means (16) detecting an obstacle around the vehicle. The initial position introduction means creates the initial position introduction means to avoid the obstacle detected by the obstacle detection means when the obstacle detected by the obstacle detection means exists on the created initial position introduction path.
