PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing mold which enables forming of an appropriate vent hole, in a best-suited position of a sector, regardless of the position of a container fitting screw arranged on the back of the sector. SOLUTION: The vent hole 6 is formed in communication with the back 2b of the sector 2 from its tread forming surface 2a side, in the way that the vent hole 6 is positioned almost orthogonal to the tread forming surface 2a. When this vent hole 6 is superposed over the position of a fitting screw 5, a communicating hole 6a extending in the axial direction of a cylinder where the fitting screw 5 is fitted, is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder for the fitting screw 5. Further, the vent hole 6 with one end opened in the apex dent part 4a of a tapped hole 4, is made to communicate with the back 2b of the sector 2 from its tread forming surface 2a through the communicating hole 6a, and thereby, a gas G is discharged from the vent hole 6.
