PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the operation of an ultraviolet ray emission lamp while minimizing exposure to ultraviolet ray. SOLUTION: The operation of the ultraviolet ray emission lamp 40 is confirmed by opening a heat insulating door 14 in such a state that a tray T is taken out from a storage. The ultraviolet ray emission lamp 40 is in a lights-out state in a stage when the heat insulating door 14 is opened, and the door is opened when the slide door 50 of the sterilizer 30 is closed. The ultraviolet ray emission lamp 40 is turned on for 10 seconds by a function of a lighting portion 83 for confirmation, of a control device 80 when a confirmation button 73 is pressed after setting "confirmation mode", and then turned off. Here, the ultraviolet ray emission lamp 40 is visually checked from a front part of the storage compartment 15, so that it is confirmed that the operation is normal when the lamp is actually lit, and it is confirmed that abnormality such as a lamp failure occurs, when the ultraviolet ray emission lamp 40 is not lit even though the confirmation button 73 is pressed.
