PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient cognitive radio with a simple structure while avoiding interference with a Primary system. SOLUTION: A signal detection device detects two received signals, time intervals T1 and T2. A power comparison part compares received power of the two detected received signals, while a signal selection part selects a received signal of larger reception power. A reception weight calculation part calculates weighting value so as to perform interference elimination on the basis of information on the selected received signal. A received signal weight multiplication part multiplies the weighting value and the received signal, whereas a transmission signal weight multiplication part multiplies the weighting value and a transmission signal branched into the same number as that of a plurality of antenna elements. A transmission and reception timing determination part switches to another Primary system where communication quality becomes thresholdαor larger when the communication quality becomes the thresholdαor smaller on the basis of the comparison result by the power comparison part.
