PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neuron element whose output part is constituted of a simple circuit, and that has analog-type output characteristics, and a neural network information processing device using the same. SOLUTION: A neuron element 1 has an input member 10 for receiving a plurality of input signals xi to generate a weighting signal xiwi for each input signal as a product of an input signal and a joint load wi, a summing member 20 for generating a summation X of a plurality of weighting signals xiwi (i=1 to n), and an output member 30 for outputting an output signal Y(X) as a function of the summation X, wherein as an element for determining the output signal Y(X), an electric current flowing in the element uses a functional molecule element 31 for an applied voltage, the functional molecule element 31 having current-voltage characteristics expressed as a function having an inflection point, and based on current-voltage characteristics of a range including the inflection point for the element, the output signal Y is determined as a function of the summation X.
