METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING BULKHEAD RETAINING WALL, COPING CONCRETE BLOCK USED FOR THE METHOD, AND BOTTOM FORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a bulkhead retaining wall using a bottom form which can realize easy and assured mounting and dismounting operations. SOLUTION: When the bulkhead retaining wall is constructed by covering a sheet pile 2 with a coping concrete block 1 formed of side boards 11 lowered vertically and a bottom board 12 extending from the lower edges of the side boards 11, the bottom frame 3 is fitted to the lower surface of the bottom board 12 of the coping concrete block 1 by using the bottom form 3 with a buoyancy for pouring a placement concrete 5 between the side board 11 of the coping concrete block 1 and the side surface of the sheet pile 2 before pouring the placement concrete, to close gap between the front edge of the bottom board 12 of the coping concrete block 1 and the side surface of the sheet pile 2 by the bottom form 3 from the lower side. After pouring the placement concrete 5, the bottom form 3 is separated from the lower surface of the bottom board 12 of the coping concrete block 1, and the bottom form 3 is recovered without allowing them to be submerged under water.
