<p>An exhaust gas recirculation system according to the present invention includes: a plurality of turbochargers (6A, 6B) connected in parallel to an exhaust gas passage (3) configured to introduce an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine (2); an EGR passage (25) configured to connect the exhaust gas passage (3) and a charge air or scavenge air passage (10) configured to supply a compressed gas, generated by the plurality of turbochargers (6A, 6B), to the internal combustion engine (2); and a control device (30) configured to adjust an EGR ratio that is a ratio of the amount of exhaust gas flowing through the EGR passage (25) to the total amount of exhaust gas. Further, the control device (30) determines whether to activate each of the plurality of turbochargers (6A, 6B) based on a load of the internal combustion engine (2) and the EGR ratio.</p> |
