PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control to enable a user to check a color image even when color image data attached to received e-mail is printed in monochrome.SOLUTION: An MFP 101 receives an inquiry to a mail server 103 for every automatic reception interval or on the basis of a user operation (option 503) through a panel 320 (S601). When printing a color image received on the basis of an instruction in monochrome, the MFP 101 controls not to delete e-mail stored in the mail server 103 (S708 to 710), and when printing a received monochrome image in monochrome, controls to delete the e-mail stored in the mail server 103 (S708 and S711).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
