PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally erasable ink composition in which the handwriting or the like drawn on a paper can easily be erased by raising the temperature, as well as the ink composition itself is hard to be discolored even subjected to the raising temperature.SOLUTION: The thermally erasable ink composition of the present invention contains: a leuco dye which is made in a colored state by a developer (for example, a compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group such as bis-phenol A); a reaction medium (for example, a fatty acid ester compound) which makes the leuco dye colored state into discolored state by contacting with the leuco dye and depending on the temperature; and a water-based dispersion medium which disperses the leuco dye and the reaction medium as an isolated dispersoid, and disappears on the paper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
