A muscular strength measurement device according to an embodiment comprises: a wearable band which may be worn so as to be wound around a specified site on a subject and which includes an inflation/deflation body which may be inflated or deflated by supplying air thereto or removing air therefrom; a pressure measurement unit for measuring the internal pressure of the inflation/deflation body; a control unit which executes a prescribed computation process on the basis of measurement information from the pressure measurement unit; an input unit which accepts a user's instruction input; and an output unit which outputs the result of the computation from the control unit. The control unit commences a process of measuring muscular strength on the basis of the user's instruction input, acquires a first pressure and a second pressure which are measured over the course of muscle at the specified site contracting from a state of relaxation with the wearable band being worn, and causes the output unit to output, as information which signifies the muscular strength corresponding to the specified site, information based on the difference between the first pressure and the second pressure. |
