Information processing devices are suitably connected in a wireless manner. This information processing device is provided with a wireless communication unit and a control unit. The wireless communication unit performs data transmission with other information processing devices. Further, a situation is assumed in which, while the information processing device is performing data transmission with a first information processing device which fulfills the role of group owner of a network formed at least by the device itself and the first information processing device, the information processing device additionally performs data transmission with a second information processing device. In this case, the control unit performs control to exchange information for changing the roles for performing data transmission with each of the first information processing device and the second information processing device.
