PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for implementing a process of detecting contact of a pointing element on a screen surface, different from conventional methods.SOLUTION: An interactive projector includes: a projection unit; a plurality of cameras including a first camera and a second camera for imaging a region of a projected screen; a position detection unit for detecting a first coordinate position of a pointing element on the projected screen on the basis of a first captured image including the pointing element captured by the first camera, and also detecting a second coordinate position of the pointing element on the projected screen on the basis of a second captured image including the pointing element captured by the second camera; and a contact detection unit for detecting contact of the pointing element on the projected screen on the basis of the first coordinate position and the second coordinate position. The contact detection unit detects contact of the pointing element on the projected screen when the first coordinate position coincides with the second coordinate position within a tolerance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
