The novelty is that the nitric oxide reducing agent inlet unit controller (24) is controlled by the signals from two reduction agent sensors (27, 28) arranged down flow from the reduction catalytic converter (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement controls the introduction of nitric oxide used as a reducing agent on diesel engine exhaust gases. The arrangement minimises the complexity for registration of the operating parameters end economic use of the reducing agent.
