The two coaxial components of the work holder abut each other in their normal use position via two conical surfaces with identical axis. Pref., one conical surface (4) is contained in a movable cap (2) with the V shape proper. The other surface (3) is located in a fixed socket (18) with a centering extension (19). The centering extension is allocated to a base plate, a coupling bar, or similar module element. The two conical surfaces are pressed together by a prestressed spring (8).
